Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 667 , reports
as follows :
Bill 667 proposes to amend Ordinance 88-81 , the Capital Improvement
Budget for Fiscal Year 1988-89, by adding the following project:
110-199-5191 . 18-115 Civil Service Addition $35 ,000
The Civil Service Department is wanting to acquire an additional
297 square feet of office space at the Hilo Lagoon Centre . The
acquisition will accommodate two staff members and allow the
department to relocate the training officer from the training room
at the Public Works baseyard . Additional space will be freed to
accommodate a machine/duplicating/workroom to house the new xerox
machine .
Funding for this project will be provided from the fund balance of
the General Fund .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 667 and recommends that itss first reading.
