Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 661, reports
as follows :
Bill 661 proposes to amend Ordinance 88-83, the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 1988-89, by increasing revenues in the Fund Balance from
Previous Year account in the General Fund by $4,000 and
appropriating same to the following account:

010-311-5311 .02-115 Mass Transit OCE - General $4,000
Misc . Contract Services
The $4,000 appropriation is the amount needed as the County ' s share
of the non-federal funds amount of $8,000 for the $150, 250
renovations to the Mooheau Bus Terminal . The rest of the $4,000 in
non-federal funds will come from the Department of Parks &
Recreation and the Hawaii County Economic Opportunity Council .
Your Committee on Finance finds that the renovations to the Mooheau
Bus Terminal are necessary.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 661 and recommends that its first reading.
