Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 658, reports
as follows :
Bill 658 proposes to amend Ordinance 88-83, the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 1988-89, by increasing revenues in the Fund Balance from
Previous Year account in the General Fund by $54,480 and
appropriating same to the following accounts :

This appropriation will enable the Civil Defense Agency to furnish ,
equip and supply the Emergency Operating Center at the Hawaii Public
Safety Building.
Your Committee on Finance finds that the proposed appropriations are
necessary to make the Emergency Operating Center operational .
Your Committee on Finance is in ccord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 658 and recommends theE it pass first reading.
