Your Committee on Finance , to which was referred Bill 628, reports
as follows:
Bill 628 proposes to amend Ordinance 88-81 , the Capital Improvement
Budget for Fiscal Year 1988-89, by redesignating the source of funds
for the following project :
Department of Parks and Recreation
Alae Cemetery Expansion 1100 ,000
(110-599-5491 .05-115)
Funds for this project shall be provided from the Bond Fund Fund
Balance .
It was explained that the reason for the need of these funds is to
acquire additional lands and to prepare this acreage for burial
plots . It is estimated that burial plots at Alae Cemetery will be
exhausted within two years .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 628 and recommends t pass first reading .
