Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 622, reports
as follows:
Bill 622 proposes to amend Ordinance 88-83, the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 1988-89, by increasing revenues in General Fund Account
No . 3611. 15 , Proceeds From Bond Sale, by $6 ,000 ,000, and
appropriating same to the following account:

010--911--5912. 69--430 BOND SALE EQUIPMENT PURCHASES $6 ,000 ,000
Communication 1759 refers to an earlier advisory that the
administration had planned to raise funds through the sale of
general obligation bonds to purchase equipment for the County. This
ordinance to amend the current operating budget will accomplish this .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 622 and recommends that it pass first reading, contingent
upon the receipt of more information.
