Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 620, reports
as follows:
Bill 620 proposes to amend Ordinance 8883, the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 1988989, by increasing revenues in the following General
Fund accounts :

Communication 1757 indicates that the above Federal grants are to be
used in the following ways :
1 . To increase the number of days that DUI roadblocks are used
in the County by 50 ;
2 . To increase enforcement of the State seat belt law by
providing funds for overtime and other operating expenses .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 620 and recommends that it pass first reading.
