Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 619, reports
as follows :
Bill 619 proposes to amend Ordinance 88083, the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 198889, by increasing revenues in General Fund Account
No . 3607 .00 , Contribution From Private Source, by $84 ,353. 20, and
appropriating same to the following account :

Total 84 353. 20
Communication ica ion 1756 indicates that Messrs . Dick Davis and
George E. Isaacs from North Kohala have agreed to contribute
$84, 353. 20 to the County of Hawaii for the purchase of an ambulance
and accessory equipment . It is to be stationed in North Kohala .
Pursuant to Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter , the Council , on
behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donation. Your Committee
on Finance recommends acceptance of the donation and that a letter
of appreciation be forwarded to :
