Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 610 , reports
as follows :
Bill 610 proposes to amend Ordinance 88-83 , as amended, the
Operating Budget for Fiscal Year 1988-89, by increasing revenues in
the following accounts :
3301. 60 FEDERAL GRANT - General Fund $75,000
OPERATION SWEEP - 1988
3304. 30 STATE GRANT - 25,000
/ OPERATION SWEEP - 1988
Total $100,000
and' appropriating the sum of $100 ,000 to the following account :
010-201-5218 . 66-115 OPERATION SWEEP - 1988 General Fund $100,000
Communication 1742 indicated that the funds are a grant award in the
amount of $100 ,000 for the project entitled, Operation Sweep -
1988. The grant is comprised of $75,000 Federal contribution and
$25,000 State contribution.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 610 and ommends that it pass first reading.
