Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 599, reports
as follows:
Bill 599 proposes to amend Ordinance 88-81, the Capital Improvement
Budget for Fiscal Year 1988-89, by increasing the appropriation for
the following project :
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
Pahoa Road Resurfacing & Drainage Improvements
(110-399-5390 . 41-115) [ 150,000 ] $184 ,789 .50
Your Committee on Finance is aware that the $34,789 . 50 increase will
be provided by the Department of Water Supply as part of the project
which includes improvements to the water system.
Your committee is further aware that of the amount increased ,
$32, 289 . 50 will be applied to the water system improvements and the
balance of $2,500 will be used for related consulting design
services,
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 599 acommends that it pass first reading.
