Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 595 , reports as
follows:
Bill 595 proposes to amend Ordinance 88-83, the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 1988-89, by increasing revenues in General Fund Account
No. 3607 . 00 , Contribution From Private Source, by $1,000 , and
appropriating same to the following account :

010-221-5224.02-341 Fire Prevention/Centennial $1,000
Celebration - Private
Your Committee on Finance is aware that these funds donated by
Mr . Richard E. Devine will be used for the Fire Department ' s Fire
Prevention Week and/or the Fire Department ' s centennial celebration
scheduled for this year .
Your Committee recommends acceptance of the gift and that a letter of
appreciation be sent to Mr . Richard E. Devine, P. 0. Box 950, Keaau,
Hawaii 96749 .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose of
Bill 595 and recommral that it pass first reading.
