Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution
No . 470-88, reports as follows:
The purpose of Resolution No. 470-88 is to amend the Salary Ordinance
as follows:
Section 8 .01 OFFICE OF THE COUNTY COUNCIL
Reallocate one position of Election Assistant (TAN) -OHA SR-15 to
Election Warehouse Worker II (TAN) WF-04 .
Your Committee on Finance has been informed that the reason for the
change is that the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) has been merged
into the regular system so the title of Election Assistant OHA should
be changed to Election Warehouseman II .
Your Committee has been further informed that the salary for the
position is $17,400 annually and the duties ascribed to the position
are as follows:
Polling Place Logistics 40%
Delivery/Collection Teams Logistics 20%
.Warehousing and Maintenance 30%
Other Duties 10%
The County Clerk has certified that sufficient funds are available and
the Director of Finance has certified to the accuracy of the
information and the availability of funds.
Pursuant to Section 3-14, Hawaii County Charter , interim amendments to
the Pay Plan may be made by resolution.
