Your Committee on Finance , to which was referred Communication
No . 1652 a -request from Corporation Counsel for an executive session
to discuss Civil Case No . 86-222 Watts v . Hilo Shopping Center ,
reports as follows .
Your Committee on Finance heard from Corporation Counsel the details
and settlement recommendation of Civil Suit No . 86-222, Watts v .
Hilo Shopping Center . Your Committee concurs with the Corporation
Counsel ' s recommendation that it is in the best interest of the
County to accept the settlement proposal .
Your Committee on Finance recommends that the Council approve the
recommended settlement as presented by the Corporation Counsel .
