Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 575 , reports
as follows:
Bill 575 proposes to amend Ordinance 87-58, the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 1987-88, by increasing revenues in General Fund Account
No . 3501 .07, Drug Enforcement, by $522.50 , and appropriating same to
Account No . 010-201-5218. 41-115, Drug Enforcement .
Your Committee on Finance is aware that these funds have been
received by the Police Department from the Third Circuit Court .
This money represents partial restitution from various drug-related
cases .
Your committee is further aware that these funds will be used for
drug enforcement purposes by the Police Department .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 575 and recommends tha ' t pass second and final reading .
