Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 574, reports
as follows:
Bill 574 proposes to further amend Ordinance No. 48.2, adopted on
Ct. . 17 ,. 1979, by adding the following project for utilization of the
remaining proceeds from the bond sale:
Kahaluu Beach Park 421 ,182

Your Committee on Finance has been apprised of the fact that the
bids for the Kahaluu Beach Park improvements were higher than
expected .. The low bid for the project was $120 ,592. A total of
$99 ,410 is presently available for the project, which includes
10 ,567 from Community Development Block Grant funds . There is an
additional need for $21,182 to award the contract .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 574 and recommends that i ass second and final reading.
