Your Committee on Finance , to which was referred Bill 572, reports
as follows:
Bill 572 proposes to amend Ordinance 87-59, the Capital Improvement
Budget for Fiscal Year 1987-88, by increasing the appropriation for
the following project:
FIRE DEPARTMENT
N. Kohala Fire Station $35 ,611 .80

Your Committee on Finance has been apprised that the low bid for the
North Kohala Fire Station was $132,117 , which is 432,611 .80 over the '
amount available . There is also an additional need for $3,000 for
floor covering .
Your committee is aware that the funding source for this project is
the Bond Fund Fund Balance .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 572 and recommends that it ss second and final reading .
