Your Committee on Finance , to which was referred Bill 567 , reports
as follows:
Bill 567 proposes to amend Ordinance 87-58 , the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 1987-88 , by increasing revenues in General Fund Account
No . 3607 .00 , Contribution from Private Sources , by $5 ,000 , and
appropriating same to Account No . 010-505-5505 .47-115 , Liliuokalani
Park Pathway.
Your Committee on Finance is aware that a gift in the sum of $5 ,000
has been received by the County from the Grand Tea Master of
Urensenke - Soshitsu Sen XV. These funds are to be used for the
extension of the Sen Soshitsu XV pathway of the Shoroan Tea House
complex at Liliuokalani Park .
Your committee is further aware that this is an additional
contribution to a gift received from the Grand Tea Master of
Urensenke in May 1987 , to provide a walkway to the tea house from
the sumo area .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 567 and recommends that it first reading .
