Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 566 , reports
as follows:
Bill 566 proposes to amend Ordinance 87-59 , the Capital Improvement
Budget for Fiscal Year 1987-88 , by increasing the appropriation for
the following project:
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
Hilo Wastewater System [86 ,619 .17 ] 113 ,201 .95

Part of the funds for this project will be provided from Account
No. 2234 .00 , Unallotted Appropriation of Transfers, $26 ,582 .78 . '
Your Committee on Finance is aware that the funds are needed to
purchase an emergency generator for the Hilo sewage pumping station .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 566 and recommends that it paw f irst reading .
