Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 551, reports
as follows:
Bill 551 proposes to amend Ordinance 87-58 , the Operating Budget for .
Fiscal Year 1987-88, by increasing revenues in Highway Fund Account
No . 3104 .06 , Fuel Tax Increase (Res . 397-88 ) , by $350 ,000 , and
appropriating same to Highway Fund Account No. 020-801-5801 .02-341 ,
Transfer to Other Funds.
Your Committee on Finance is aware that the purpose of this
ordinance is to establish an account to receive the proceeds from
the fuel tax increase authorized by Resolution 397-88 . It is
estimated that the revenues will amount to about $350 ,000 by
June 30 , 1988 .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 551 and recommends that i't is first reading.
