Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution
No. 445-88, reports as follows:
The purpose of Resolution No. 445-88 is to transfer and appropriate
$1 ,665 as follows:

010-101-5101 .15-115 Clerk-Council - External Audit
Credited To:
010-101-5101 .06-450 Clerk-Council - Office Equipment
Your Committee on Finance has been informed that the funds are
necessary for the purchase of new office equipment . This has been
necessitated because of the hiring of a new personnel and the return
of borrowed equipment to the Elections Division.
Your committee has been further informed that funds are available
because of a financially favorable audit fee negotiated for the
1987-88 audit contract .
Pursuant to Section 10-9 of the Hawaii County Charter , the Council ,
by resolution, may transfer part or all of any unencumbered
appropriation balance from one agency to another .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Resolution No . 445-88 and recomm ' ts adoption .
