Your Committee on Finance , to which was referred Communication
�No . 1582 reports as follows:
Your Committee on Finance has been informed that the Kona Crime
Prevention Committee has donated a prisoner transportation vehicle
to the County. This vehicle is for use in the Kona District by the
Hawaii County Police Department .
Pursuant to Section 13-12 , Hawaii County Charter , the Council , on
behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donation .
Your Committee on Finance recommends acceptance of the donation and
that a letter of appreciation be forwarded to:
