A gift of a 1987 Ford F350 , Type I Ambulance, ID No .
IFDKF37L1HNB01759 , with a value of $47 ,735 .91 , was received by the
Hawaii County Fire Department . The donor was Kaiser Permanente of
Honolulu.
Your committee understands that the donation of this gift was done
in good faith and no preferential treatment is expected by the donor .
Pursuant to Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter , the Council , on
behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donation .
Your Committee on -Finance recommends acceptance of the donation and
that a letter of appreciation be forwarded to:
