Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 520 , reports
as follows:
Bill 520 proposes to amend Ordinance 87-58 , the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 1987-88 , by increasing revenues in General Fund Account
No . 3607 .00 , Contribution from Private Sources , by $2,000 , and
appropriating same to Account No . 010-221-5227 .21-341 , Western Oil
and Gas Association Fire Protection School .
The $2 ,000 is being donated by Chevron U.S .A. to the Fire Department ,
for the purpose of covering the training expenses for fire personnel
to attend sessions at the Western Oil and Gas Association Fire
Protection School .
Pursuant to Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter , your committee
recommends that the Council , on behalf of the County, accept the
donation and that Bill 520 be passed on first reading .
