Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 518 , reports
as follows:
Bill 518 proposes to amend Ordinance 87-58 , the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 1987-88 , by increasing revenues in General Fund Account
No . 3501.07 , Drug Enforcement , by $2,000 , and appropriating same to
Account No. 010-201-5218 . 41-115 , Drug Enforcement .
Your Committee on Finance has been informed that this money was
received by the Police Department from the Third Circuit Court ,
relating to a particular drug enforcement case .
Your committee is -aware that this money is to assist the police in
the enforcement of drug laws .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 518 and recommends that it pass first reading .
