The purpose of Resolution No. 410-88 is to transfer and appropriate
$1 ,500 as follows:

Your Committee on Finance is aware that these funds are to be used
to purchase plaques with bases and plates to be awarded to the
officials and kumu hula at the 25th Merrie Monarch Festival .
Your committee is further aware that these presentations will be
made to honor the officials and kumu hula for their dedication and
hard work in making the festival the great success that it is .
Pursuant to Section 10-9 of the Hawaii County Charter , the Council ,
by resolution, may transfer part or all of any unencumbered
appropriation balance from one agency to another .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Resolution No. 410-88 and rpmends its adoption.
