Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution
No. 396-87, reports as follows:
The purpose of Resolution No. 396-88 is to transfer and appropriate
$1 ,822.54 as follows:

Your committee was informed that the Office of the Prosecuting .
Attorney has received approval from the State Law Enforcement
Planning Agency to amend the encumbrance at June 30, 1987 for the
Victims of Crime Act Program.
The amendment will , in effect, reduce the Regular Salaries and Wages
Account by $1 ,822.54 which, in turn, will be used to print brochures
for victims and witnesses .
Pursuant t to Section 10-9 of the Hawaii County Charter , the Council ,
by resolution, may transfer part or all of any unencumbered
appropriation balance from one agency to another . '
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Resolution No . 396-88 and recommends its adoption.
