No. 389-88, reports as follows:
The purpose of Resolution No. 389-88 is to transfer and appropriate

Your Committee on Finance has been informed that the Office of the
Prosecuting Attorneyhas been granted approval by the State Attorney
General to amend the budget for the Aid to Victim/Witness Program.
Your committee is aware that the amendment provides for reducing the
Regular Salaries and Wages account by 2,950 and using this amount
to buy five 4-drawer filing cabinets with locks and two sets of
anatomically correct dolls .
Pursuant to Section 10-9 of the Hawaii County Charter , the Council,
by resolution, may transfer part or all of any unencumbered
appropriation balance from one agency to another .
Your Committee on Finance is in acc d with the intent and purpose
of Resolution No. 389-88 and re mends its adoption.
