Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 388, reports
as follows:
The purpose of Bill 388 is to amend Ordinance 709, as amended,
relating to General Obligation Bonds, by including the public
improvements authorized by Ordinance 86-64, as amended; the Capital
Budget Ordinance for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1987 and the
public improvements authorized by Ordinance 87-59, as amended; the
Capital Budget Ordinance for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1988,
for allotments from the proceeds of the bond sale.
Bill 388 was considered for second reading by the Council on
January 18, 1988; however , it was noted that Bill 388 included an
amendment to Ordinance . No. 482 which was not consistent with the
title of the bill . Section 1 of Bill 388 proposes to amend
Ordinance No. 482, as amended, by including public improvements
authorized in the capital budgets for the fiscal years ending
June 30, 1987 and June 30, 1988 for allotment consideration of the
remaining unallotted proceeds of the 82 A bonds, $2, 674.
Your committee has amended Bill 388 by deleting amendments
incorporated in Section 1 and renumbering Section -2 as Section 1 .
Your committee requested the Director of Finance to provide a
listing of recommended projects for the unallotted proceeds from
both the 80 A and 82 A bonds. - •
Your Committee on Finance has referred ' 1 388, Draft 2, to the
Council for second readin considerat ' n.
