Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 480, reports
as follows:
Bill 480 proposes to amend Ordinance 87-59, the Capital Improvement
Budget for Fiscal Year 1987-88, by adding the following- project:
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS:
Bridge Inspection and Appraisals 350 ,000
(110-399-5399 .45-115)
Your Committee on Finance is aware that these -funds are from a .
Federal grant and are to be used for bridge inspection and
appraisals .
Your committee ' s findings on the bill is that the operating budget
and not the capital improvement budget should be amended to
accomplish the intended purpose. The Director of Finance is in
agreement with this finding and will be submitting a new bill .
Accordingly, your Committee on Finance reco ends that Bill 480 be
filed.
