Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 479, reports
as follows:
Bill 479 proposes to amend Ordinance 87-59, the Capital Improvement -
Budget for Fiscal Year 1987-88, by increasing the appropriation for
the following project :
Papaikou-Paukaa Sewerage System $88, 970
EPA Funds
(110-699-5691. 34-115)
Your Committee on Finance has been informed that these funds have
been obtained as a result of an increase in Federal grants .
Your committee is further aware that this additional assistance is l
due to changes in the project ' s scope of work to be performed by the
contractor and construction managers .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 479 and recommends that it pass f ' rst • reading.
