Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 469, reports
as follows:
Bill 469 proposes to amend Ordinance 87-58, the Operating Budget for.
Fiscal Year 1987-88, by increasing revenues in General Fund Account
No . 3607 .00 , Contribution from Private Source, by 350, and
appropriating same to General Fund Account No. 010-519-5519 .50-480 ,
Multipurpose Activity Center Miscellaneous Equipment .
Your committee is aware that these funds were donated by Yilman and
Frances Lee in memory of Yilman ' s mother, Sue Chun. It is further
aware that the funds are to be used for the expressed purpose of
erecting a screen to keep out the rain from the lanai where the
seniors might be sitting at the Pomaikai Center .
The Council accepted the donation at the January 18, 1988 meeting.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and puipose
of Bill 469 and recommends that it pass fist reading.
