Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication 1427 ,
reports as follows:
Your Committee on Finance has been informed that a donation in the
sum of 350 was received by the Department of Parks & Recreation.
The gift was from Yilman and Frances Lee in memory of Yilman ' s
mother , Sue Chun.
Your committee has been further informed that the gift is a token of
appreciation for the many hours of enjoyment that Sue Chun Lee had
at the Pomaikai Senior Center . It has been requested that the money
be used to purchase a screen to keep the rain from coming in on the
seniors while they are on the lanai .
Pursuant to Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the Council, on
behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donation.
Your Committee on Finance recommends acceptance of the donation and
that a letter of appreciation bearded to Yilman and Frances Lee.
