Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 45. 9, reports
as follows:
Bill 459 proposes to amend Ordinance 87-59, the Capital Improvement
Budget for Fiscal Year 1987-88, by adding the following projects: '
Kau Police Station $300,000
Puna Roads and Drainage 169,891
New Hilo Wastewater Treatment Facility 300,000
Your Committee on Finance is aware that the first two projects had
lapsed on June 30, 1987 , so this reflects a reappropriation of the
two projects . It is also aware that the Hilo Wastewater Treatment
Facility is a new project .
Your committee is further aware that funding for all three projects
will come from the Fund Balance of the Bond Fund.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 459 and recommends that it p4pAorifirst reading.
