Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication
No . 1348 , reports as follows :
The purpose of Communication No . 1348 is to recommend the
appointment of Mr . John A. Wagner as Corporation Counsel of the
County of Hawaii .
Mr . Wagner will serve a term scheduled to expire on December 5 , 1988 .
Your Committee on Finance is aware that the nominee for the position
is duly qualified and is in compliance with all requirements
applicable to the position .
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 5-2. 2 of the Hawaii County
Charter , the Mayor appoints the Corporation Counsel with the
approval of the Council .
Your Committee on Finance recommends approval of the appointment of
Mr . John A. Wagner as Corporation Co sel of the County of Hawaii .
