Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication
No . 1334 , reports as follows:
The purpose of Communication No . 1334 is to recommend the
appointment of Mr . Rodney K. W. Wong , an independent from Hilo, to
the Liquor Control Adjudication Board .
Mr . Wong, a teacher at Waiakea Intermediate School , will serve until
December 31, 1992, filling a vacancy which will be created when the
term of Ms . Rose Marie Baclig expires on December 31 , 1987 .
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7-3. 3 of the Hawaii County
Charter , the Mayor appoints members to the Liquor Control
Adjudication Board with the approval of the Council in the manner
prescribed in Section 13-4 of the Hawaii County Charter .
Your Committee on Finance recommends approval of the appointment of
Mr . Rodney K. W. Wong to the Liquor C trol Adjudication Board.
