Your Committee on Finance , to which was referred Bill 421 , reports
as follows:

Bill 421 proposes to amend Ordinance 87-58 , the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 1987-88 , by increasing revenues in the General Fund
Account No . 3304 .25 , State Grants , Community Long-Term Care, by
$50 ,000 , and appropriating same to Account No . 010-411-5411 .21-115 ,
Community Long-Term Care .
Your committee has been informed that the Office of Aging has
received a grant of $50 ,000 from the Department of Social Services •
and Housing Community :Long-term Care Branch . The grant is to .be
used to provide temporary in-home respite services over a
twenty-four month period .
The above appropriation is in accordance with Article X,
Section 10-8 of the Hawaii County Charter . _..
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 421 and recommends thatdopess first reading .
