Your Committee on Finance , to which was referred Bill 419 , reports
as follows:
Bill 419 proposes to amend Ordinance 87-58 , the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 1987-88 , by revising the revenues in the following
amounts:
3609 .10 FUND BALANCE SEWER [ 60 ,000 ] 140 ,711
3609 .11 TRANSFER FROM GENERAL FUND SEWER [929 ,514 ] 848 ,803
Mayor Dante Carpenter has informed your committee that the Sewer
Fund ended the past, fiscal year with a fund balance of $140 ,711
which is $80 ,711 more than the $60 ,000 that was projected . The
administration is proposing to reduce the General Fund subsidy to
the Sewer Fund by increasing the Sewer Fund Fund Balance by $80 ,711
and reducing the Transfer From General Fund by like amount .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 419 and recommends that it pass first reading .
