Your Committee on Finance , to which was referred Bill 417 , reports
as follows:
Bill 417 proposes to amend Ordinance 87-58 , the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 1987-88 , by increasing revenues in General Fund Account
No . 3607 .04 , Contributions from Other Counties , by $10 ,000 , and
appropriating same to Account No . 010-201-5218 .53-115 , Marijuana
Eradication .
These funds are from the Police Chief of Maui County to Chief Paul
of Hawaii County and is to be used specifically for marijuana
eradication .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 417 and recommends that/ ss first reading .
