Your Committee on Finance , to which was referred Bill 409 , reports
as follows:
Bill 409 proposes to amend Ordinance 87-58 , the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 1987-88 , by increasing revenues in the General Fund
Account No . 3304 .04 , State Grant, Nutrition Program, by $30 ,000 and
appropriating same to Account No . 010-481-5481 .16-449 , Nutrition
Program-Equipment, Motor Vehicle .
The Hawaii County Office of Aging has been notified by the State
Executive Office of Aging that up to $30 ,000 will be available for
vehicle replacement for the Home-Delivered Meals Program. Upon the
approval of the ordinance , the sum of $30 ,000 will be used for the
purpose of purchasing said vehicles .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 409 and recommends that it irst reading .
