Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 403 , reports
as follows:
Bill 403 proposes to amend Ordinance 87-58 , the Operating Budget for ,
Fiscal Year 1987-88 , by increasing revenues in General Fund Account
No . 3301 .95 , Marijuana Eradication, by $50 ,000 , and appropriating
same to Account No . 010-201-5218 .53-115 , Marijuana Eradication .
These funds are from the Federal Government's Drug Enforcement
Administration which was used to defray the costs relating to the
eradication and suppression of marijuana.
The $50 ,000 is to supplement the $198 ,000 that had been awarded
earlier during the calendar year .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 403 and recommends that it pass f ' t reading .
