Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution
No . 344-87 , reports as follows:
The purpose of Resolution No . 344-87 is to provide for payment of
out-of-pocket expenses and microcomputer charges in excess of that
anticipated in the original contract with the accounting firm of
Deloitte, Haskins & Sells . The original contract was for the
purpose of defining an acceptable budget format .
The budget format contract included critical deadlines which
contributed to the cost overruns . Therefore, the original contract
with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells will be amended to provide for an
additional $2,500 for out-of-pocket and microcomputer charges .
Your committee finds that there are adequate funds available in the
Council ' s Miscellaneous Contract Services account which have been
further delineated for such purpose in the Schedule of Council
Anticipated Expenditures , dated June 29 , 1987 .
Your Committee on Finance concurs with thea intent of Resolution
No . 344-87 and recommends its adoption .
