Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication
/No . 1234 , reports as follows:
The purpose of Communication No. 1234 is to recommend the
appointment of Ms . Yolanda M. "Lani" Kahawai as a member of the
Board of Ethics.
Ms . Kahawai , an independent from Hilo, is the Big Island
Representative for Labor Services, Inc. She will serve until
December 31, 1987 , filling a vacancy created by the resignation of
Ms . Karen Sakoda.
Your Committee on Finance recommends approval of the appointment of
Ms . Yolanda M. "Lani" Kahawai to the Board- of Ethics .
