Your Committee on Finance , to which was referred Bill 398 , reports
as follows:
Bill 398 proposes to amend Ordinance 87-58 , the Operating Budget for
Fiscal Year 1987-88 , by increasing revenues in the General Fund
Account No . 3301 .43 , Federal Grants , UMTA, Section 18 , by $50 ,000 ,
and appropriating same to Account No . 010-311-5311 .70-440 , UMTA,
Section 18 Grant, Motor Vehicle .
The money is to be used for capital expenditures , namely for the
purchase of two mini-buses to replace existing transit vans assigned
to Coordinated Services .
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the intent and purpose
of Bill 398 and recommends that/ pass first reading .
