Your Committee on Finance , to which was referred Communication
No. 1158 reports as follows:
The purpose of Communication No . 1158 is to recommend the
appointments of Mr . Jeffrey Choi and Mr . Reiso Nakamoto to the
Police Commission .
Mr . Choi , a republican from Hilo, is a partner in the law firm of
Case and Lynch. He is filling a vacancy created by the resignation
of Mr . Bill Thibadeau and his term will expire on December 31, 1989 .
Mr . Nakamoto, an independent from Kohala, is a retired farmer . He
is filling a vacancy of the expired term of Dr . William Bergin and
his term will expire on December 31, 1991 .
Your Committee on Finance recommends approval of the appointments of
Mr . Jeffrey Choi and Mr . Reiso Nakamoto to the Police Commission.
