This is a letter of appreciation for the Been waste and recycling area at
the Kona Transfer Station. The space saved in the landfill will pay dividends
for years to come. The much needed mulch will add to the topsoil layer on
the island. I have been quick to criticize council actions in the past, but this
deserves the support of the residents of the Island.
