AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A MULTI-YEAR HOUSING
ASSISTANCE PAYMENT CONTRACT (AGREEMENT) WITH UHC 00525
HILO LIMITED PARTNERSHIP (PARTNERSHIP) OWNERS OF E KOMO
MAI, SELECTED FOR THE SECTION 8 PROJECT-BASED VOUCHER
PROGRAM (PBV PROGRAM) AS OFFERED THROUGH A PUBLIC
NOTICE DATED FEBRUARY 12, 19 AND 29, 2012.
Please see below proposed amendments to Resolution No. 290-17. The proposed amendments
are illustrated in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Resolution No. 290-17
(material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken, material to be added is underscored).
1. The title of Resolution No. 290-17 is amended to read as follows:
"A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A MULTI-YEAR
HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENT CONTRACT (AGREEMENT)WITH UHC 00525
HILO LIMITED PARTNERSHIP (PARTNERSHIP) OWNERS OF E KOMO MAI,
SELECTED FOR THE SECTION 8 PROJECT-BASED VOUCHER PROGRAM (PBV
PROGRAM) AS OFFERED THROUGH A PUBLIC NOTICE DATED FEBRUARY 12,
19 AND [293] 26,2012."
2. The second WHEREAS clause of Resolution No. 290-17 is amended to read as
follows:
"WHEREAS, the Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) entered into
a 5-year Housing Assistance Payment Contract with the Partnership following public notice
dated February 12, 19 and [29,] 26, 2012; and" Comm. No. •

3. The enacting clause of Resolution No. 290-17 is amended to read as follows:
"BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI'I that the
Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a multi-year agreement with UHC 00525 Hilo Limited
Partnership for the Section 8 Project-Based Voucher Program offered through the Public Notice
dated February 12, 19 and [29,] 26, 2012."
A draft copy of Resolution No. 290-17, Draft 2, is not provided due to the limited scope of these
proposed amendments.
