SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Resolution No. 270-17; A Resolution
Transferring/Appropriating Contingency Relief Funds for the Rental of a Portable
Bathroom For Banyan Beach in Kona.
Please see below proposed amendments to Resolution No. 270-17 to increase the
transfer/appropriation amount by$2,000. The proposed amendments are illustrated below in
Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Resolution No. 270-17; material to be deleted is
bracketed and stricken and material to be added is underscored.
1. The fourth WHEREAS clause of Resolution No. 270-17 is amended to read as follows:
"WHEREAS,the Department of Public Works is requesting funds [to rent] for the rental
and cleaning of an ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act)portable bathroom [te]2 which
will be placed in the public access area to Banyan Beach; now,therefore,"
2. The sixth WHEREAS clause of Resolution No. 270-17 is amended to read as follows:
"BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:
