RE: Request for Executive Session, Patricia Brown Grievance/Department of
Public Works/ Kona Solid Waste/Section 11 & 3/Unit 1/ADS-93-34.
Dear Chairperson Arakaki:
Please place this matter on the County Council's Agenda for its next meeting under "Executive
Session." I would like to discuss this case in Executive Session to review a proposed settlement
and seek the County Council's approval. I anticipate that confidential "personnel" matters will
be discussed. Additionally, the County's strategy in this case will be discussed in detail.
