Resolution 250-17 is a misguided attempt to protect birds at the Kealakehe Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Please use practical judgement and do more investigative research into what is really happening with the bird
population there (the birds are thriving at the plant without any help.)
This resolution is unnecessary, pointless and cruel as well.
I'M REQUESTING MY COUNTY COUNCIL OPPOSE RESOLUTION 250-17.
I WANT TO SEE MY TAX DOLLARS BE DIRECTED TO EXPANDING THE CAPACITY OF THE HUMANE SOCIETY TO SHELTER
AND REHOME MORE ANIMALS AND TO FUND SPAY/NEUTER EDUCATION/PROGRAMS ON THIS ISLAND (INSTEAD OF
EUTHANASIA) SO OUR CHILDREN WILL KNOW HOW TO HAVE COMPASSION AND SOLUTIONS TO THE PROBLEMS THAT
OUR SOCIETY HAS CREATED WITH ANIMAL OVERPOPULATION.
