RESOLUTION NO. 333 1'
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PAY FOR THE SERVICE FEES FOR THE
PORTABLE RESTROOMS AT KOHANAIKI BEACH PARK.
WHEREAS, on June 18, 2013, the County adopted Resolution No. 129-13, Draft 2, to
accept a dedication of lots from Kohanaiki Shores LLC, to the County of Hawai`i, for public
park purposes; and on June 19, 2015, Ordinance No. 15-60 named that public park, "Kohanaiki
Beach Park"; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is in need of funds for additional
pumping service fees for portable restrooms provided at Kohanaiki Beach Park for the
period of
September 2017 through June 2018; and
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to the Department of
Parks and Recreation to pay for additional portable restroom services provided at Kohanaiki
Beach Park.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $3,825
CREDITED TO:
010.500.5505.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $3,825

(Portable Restrooms—Kohanaiki Beach Park)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
