In the current fiscal year, $105,000 is appropriated for this grant account. Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these additional funds into the Speed Enforcement grant account, and bringing the total grant appropriation to $171,036. The Police Department requests that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee and be placed on the October 18, 2017 Council agenda in order to expedite the receipt of these funds.
